Explore Little Sable

Nestled in the heart of the game-rich Khwai Private Reserve you will find the recently revamped Little Sable. Previously known as Jackal & Hide – the revamp has upped the levels of service and upgraded the interiors while maintaining the same intimate safari experience.

This camp is known as the “free spiritied little sister of Sable Alley” as Natural Selection likes to say. This camp is a smaller version of Sable Alley with some similairty in design style. This camp offers the same understated simplicity and style- a touch of old world english heritage mixed with the ambience of african inspired creativity.

There are only eight tents at Little Sable, making this camp an intimateand comfortable safari experience. Each tent is a cosy, enclosed retreat from the elements and offers a king-size bed for its guests. Each room has a private viewing deck with views of shimmering grasslands and an en suite bathroom.

An extended deck and large fire pit make the perfect spot for morning cup of coffee and late evening G&Ts. Located directly across from a favorite grazing spot for elephants and zebras, it‘s a beautiful place to enjoy the great outdoors. During siesta time, the area makes a great spot for wildlife watching – or at any time of day. The thatch-covered bar, lounge, and dining areas offer a relaxed, luxury safari experience.

In the camp you will feel a surreal sense of freedom, where the wide open views offer you the opportunity to connect and immerse yourself with your surroundings on so many levels. As you sit in the sanctuary of Little Sable Camp, you sense that you are totally connected to the environment and at one with it.
